Power cycle your router

You can solve common problems with your router by powercycling. Power cycle is a term commonly used for turning off network hardware and turning it on again in a particular order.

To power cycle your router:

  1. Turn off the router.
 
  1. Wait 30 seconds.
 
  1. Turn on the router again.
 
  1. Wait for the router to completely start (approximately one minute).
